I’m Sidharth, and I like to understand cities by walking them.
I come from a background of 10+ years in digital marketing, but my curiosity for people, places, and stories led me to curating and leading walking tours.
While working with a backpackers hostel in Bangalore, I designed and conducted walks across the city, exploring colonial and Indian history, local culture, and food—often shaping routes and stories based on what participants were most curious about.
I enjoy walks that are slow, conversational, and rooted in real places rather than checklists. Now back in Kolkata,
I’m rediscovering the city on foot and building walking experiences that help people connect with it in a thoughtful, human way.

My journey into walking tours began while working with Locul Hostels in Bangalore, where I had the opportunity to design and lead guided walks for travellers from around the world. The walks were thoughtfully created experiences that brought together colonial and Indian history, local culture, and food, all woven into stories that unfolded as we walked. The aim was to enrich the experience of the guests at the hostel.
I led small groups of 3 to 15 people, creating an atmosphere that felt relaxed, personal, and open to conversation. Some guests wanted to dive deep into history, others were more curious about neighbourhood life or local flavours, so I also designed custom tours on request, shaping each walk around what people genuinely wanted to explore.
What mattered most to me was helping people feel connected to the city—not just informed about it.

Those walks in Bangalore taught me how powerful it can be to experience a place on foot, through stories, shared moments, and everyday details. That same approach continues to guide how I design and lead walking tours today.
